Lorenz Quack updated QPID-7659:
-------------------------------
Description:
Currently, the broker does not support Link stealing as specified by the AMQP
1.0 specification (section 2.6.1).
This means that Link uniqueness is not properly enforced.
-This also breaks the JMS bindings that rely on Link uniqueness to enforce
things like uniqueness of ClientIds.-
In accordance with [this
document|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/qpid/Link+Registry+Design#LinkRegistryDesign-Designv3]
the Link should handle Attach and Link stealing. See IRC conversation attached
to the linked wiki for some ideas about Link stealing.
This is tricky because the threading issues involved.
