Rethinking my reproducer - this could as easily be a bug in the broker that
causes the broker to drop messages rather than send them - the client will wait
forever rather than timing out.
Given this I'm not 100% sure that my "reproducer" actually is the same bug -
and I'm now having some difficulty in getting it to work too!
