Hari Sekhon commented on RANGER-1888:
-------------------------------------

The search feature is good for finding a specific user / group but for
comparison purposes the ordering is expected by most users.

Additionally the search results themselves are returned in a jumbled order.

For clean looking UI the default for both browsing and search results should be
to return the list of users and groups in case insensitive alphabetical order
to make it easy for humans to look at.

> Components: admin
> Affects Versions: 0.7.0

> Priority: Minor
>
> Request to add User / Group sorting to the Settings -> Users / Group tabs
> column fields, especially user name / group name.
> There are a lot of external users and groups which are currently displayed in
> what appears like a jumbled non-alphabetical ordering which makes it hard to
> visually scan similarly named users and groups in the list.
