I'll take a look and restore the functionality tomorrow.

In general I would expect that requestNavigateTo is going to navigate a
gadget between views within a gadget site. IE the current behavior is what
I would have expected based on the spec.

Whereas if I wanted to see the gadget in a fullscreen overlay I would
expect that to come from an openGadget where our 'canvas' overlay is a
defined viewTarget.
