Take a look at the spec here [1] (I realize this is 2.5.1 but this hasn't
changed)
This method should support two different but related things
- Moving between different views on the same surface CANVAS.foo -> CANVAS.bar
- Moving between two different surfaces HOME -> CANVAS ( or CANVAS.bar )
The first option has always been supported. Option two was added as part of
RAVE-720 [2]
