and it works well with Cool Iris
well done

Hi,
We have a MediaRss feed for our custom version of Roller working
already. It was pretty easy to implement, just looked at the current
feeds and made the appropriate changes to the FeedModel and velocity
macros.
You can see it in action on one of our photoblogs:
http://from10to300mm.pixyblog.com
The feed is:
http://from10to300mm.pixyblog.com/feed/entries/mediarss
As we're using Roller as a photoblog, each entry has at least one
image associated with it, so with this feed we're browsing the images
for each entry, which is different to what you have proposed. But if
I can be of any help, let me know.
Cheers,
Richard

Looks really cool! I will research more on what exactly it would take to
support Cool Iris and see if I can add it to the media blogging proposal.
Thanks,
Ganesh

I was introduced to a colleague to Cool Iris and wrote it up on my blog

I havn't yet investigated what it would take to make a site 'cool iris'
ready, and it's windows only, but I know that you guys are thinking about
rich media hosting and this, or something like it, might be part of the
future, at the least recording and offering the rich media items embedded
in
the blog articles, and presenting it as a seperate feed might be
something
that should be done.

Very cool! The Media Blogging proposal by Ganesh and Tanuja mentions
the idea of having RSS/Atom feeds for file uploads. Sounds like all
we'd have to do to support CoolIris is to support the MediaRSS
extensions.
