A note for a follow-up pass on this PR: Casper, Minima, and PaperMod are all minimal, text-first designs (system fonts, white backgrounds, little color), so even though their layouts differ, they look like one family side by side. They were picked for popularity and license, not variety. The plan is to keep PaperMod, since it's the most popular, and replace the other two with MIT-licensed themes that have a clearly different look: - Minima → [Terminal](https://github.com/panr/hugo-theme-terminal) (Hugo): retro console style, dark background, monospace type, accent colors - Casper → [Hyde](https://github.com/poole/hyde) (Jekyll): bold colored sidebar with the title and nav, content beside it Other candidates if either of those doesn't port well: [Chirpy](https://github.com/cotes2020/jekyll-theme-chirpy) (Jekyll, sidebar layout for technical blogs; needs a check for CDN-loaded fonts and scripts) and [Minimal Mistakes](https://github.com/mmistakes/minimal-mistakes) (Jekyll, author-profile sidebar with color skins). The replacements would follow the same rules as the current ports: Velocity templates for every page type, upstream CSS with its MIT notice, a LICENSE.txt entry, light and dark support, and no external requests. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
