Hi Todd,

If I understand well you are new to Royale, don't have much experience with
Flex (AS3/MXML) and have to migrate a Flex app done by others. I think it
is the hardest position for you.

So my advice is:

1.- Try to use emulation (MXRoyale/SparkRoyale). Others in this list have
extensive experience and are continuously developing it. I think that will
be your fastest track. With more time and in other situations I'd recommend
you to use Jewel or Spectrum.

2.- Get help from people here (you already have from the community), but as
well try to ask for some commercial support hours here from people here
that could help you dedicating hours to you if you have the resources:
https://royale.apache.org/royale-commercial-support/

In case you want to go the Jewel route, here are some links that can help
you from demo or running (production) apps:

1.- https://github.com/codeoscopic/avant2-website (in production here:
https://avant2.es/productos-y-companias)
2.-
https://github.com/apache/royale-asjs/tree/develop/examples/jewel/TourDeJewel
(in production here: https://royale.apache.org/tourdejewel/)
3.-
https://github.com/apache/royale-asjs/tree/develop/examples/jewel/todomvc (
https://royale.apache.org/todomvc-jewel)

Also you have presentations covering 2 and 3 here:
