Just to clarify slot allocation: A slot is shared by multiple operators
and, at the current version at least, the job manager allocates as many slots
as the maximum number of parallelism in your streaming job. For example, if you
have something like a source->filter->map->filter->sink with parallelism 8 it
will allocate 8 slots to run parallel the operator instances of your job.
