The joint OGC / OSGeo / ASF codesprint [1] is starting Monday as an
hybrid event, physically and virtually. Is there any interest from a
Sedona developer to try the replacement (at least partially) of the LGPL
dependency by Apache SIS on a branch? If yes, I would try to help during
those 3 days. The work could be done at least for referencing services,
possibly GeoTIFF as well. The work would be on a branch, so it doesn't
need to be a commitment to integrate in the main branch before ready.
