ServiceMix Hangs on Startup
---------------------------
Key: SM-1597
URL: https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/SM-1597
Project: ServiceMix
Issue Type: Bug
Components: servicemix-core
Affects Versions: 3.2.2
Environment: Windows XP
Reporter: Damien Taylor
I have download apache servicemix and followed the instructions and attempted
to run "bin\servicemix.bat"
Everything goes through nicely, it gets right through to the following lines
(taken from the log) and then just sits and does nothing more:
"22:32:18,639 | INFO | Timer-3 | AutoDeploymentService |
ramework.AutoDeploymentService 665 | Directory: hotdeploy: Finished
installation of archive: servicemix-wsn2005-3.2.2-installer.zip
22:32:18,764 | INFO | Timer-3 | AutoDeploymentService |
ramework.AutoDeploymentService 663 | Directory: hotdeploy: Archive changed:
processing servicemix-xmpp-3.2.2-installer.zip ...
22:32:20,389 | INFO | Timer-3 | ComponentMBeanImpl |
i.framework.ComponentMBeanImpl 214 | Starting component: servicemix-xmpp
22:32:20,389 | INFO | Timer-3 | ComponentMBeanImpl |
i.framework.ComponentMBeanImpl 191 | Initializing component: servicemix-xmpp
22:32:20,451 | INFO | Timer-3 | AutoDeploymentService |
ramework.AutoDeploymentService 665 | Directory: hotdeploy: Finished
installation of archive: servicemix-xmpp-3.2.2-installer.zip"
It seems that once it has installed each of the hotdeploys it hangs.
Does anybody have any ideas?
When I go to run this script again "bin\servicemix.bat", it hangs but now it is
hanging on a different location:
"22:52:18,954 | INFO | main | ComponentMBeanImpl |
i.framework.ComponentMBeanImpl 191 | Initializing component: servicemix-xmpp
22:52:19,047 | INFO | main | JBIContainer |
mix.jbi.container.JBIContainer 642 | ServiceMix JBI Container (ServiceMix)
started
22:52:19,485 | INFO | main | JDBCAdapterFactory |
icemix.jdbc.JDBCAdapterFactory 45 | Database driver recognized:
[apache_derby_embedded_jdbc_driver]
22:52:19,563 | INFO | main | LogTask |
servicemix.jbi.logging.LogTask 58 | Logging system reconfigured using file:
file:/C:/downloads/Apache/apache-servicemix-3.2.2/apache-servicemix-3.2.2/conf/log4j.xml"
And it just won't go any further.
I am really excited about the possibilities of this product, but would really
like to know what is wrong with my installation?
Thanks guys.
Damien
