Ciao I'd like very much having these new very useful JBI components in the OFFICIAL smx distribution!!!
>From my point of view Servicemix, to become a killer application, needs to have more JBI components, easier/faster develop time for the end user and a monitoring/recover web interface... many thinks to do, maybe too much time to reach the goal before other products... For this reason it would be nice not reinventing the wheel but working on getting better what already exists or developing really NEW components! I mean, different teams/projects/companies work with smx but there is not a good sharing of additional features and components. For instance Spagic.org has already some of these components (jdbc, talend,..),: they were/should be lightweight components, but I read they want to update them... The license is different ans so I propose SMX should have two OFFICIAL JBI components repositories, one with Apache license and an other one with GPL license (like camel-extra). And Spagic.org should "share" their code in the new repository and work together with the Community. Servicemix team leaders should work in this direction, contacting smx correlated projects and try to improve the code sharing and sinergy between them! What do you think about that?
