I agree that Camel has all components SMX has but the question is if they are as good as their smx pendants. For camel-mail <-> servicemix-mail I would say that the smx one has more functionality. So I would not blindly thre away our components without checking that first.
Lars I think they are on par. The only feature I can see SMX has which Camel doesn't is the storage option. Then again Camel have some options which SMX doesn't. In any case agree on the people who voice that it would make sense to focus development on the Camel components, over the "deprecated/maintenance mode" JBI components. And someone said there was no SMPP component in Camel. In fact people from the community donated such as component http://camel.apache.org/smpp I think we got almost all SMX components covered now in Camel. For example JBoss Drools now comes with native support for Camel. -- View this message in context: http://servicemix.396122.n5.nabble.com/DISCUSS-ServiceMix-future-tp3212177p3216036.html Sent from the ServiceMix - Dev mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
