To Whom It May Concern, I'm a student and a junior developer. And I'm very interested in contributing to an open issue at Apache. Having gone through the list of project ideas available, I firmly believe that contributing to the 'Design license scanning function' task can possibly be my first contribution and will be a great way to start my Open-Source Contribution journey. Please note that so far I've gone through the Jira issue posted. It has specified three tasks, the first of which is to *Discuss with the tutor to complete the requirement design and technical design of the scanning license*. However, I'm finding it difficult to get more information on getting started. I hope to get some advice on where and how to get started on this so I can dive right in. I also want to know when I can submit a proposal to get some feedback so I can finalize it and submit my final draft. Thank You In Advance, Salman Thasleem
