This is one of the highest voted issues, so...
I took a quick look at this, originally missing the 'ops4j/org.ops4j.pax.shiro'
link (I going to poke around in there too)
One issue is the author tags (ASF recommendation), I cannot strip them without
consent from the author [~hwellmann], confirmation here should be enough.
