Question: I was working under the assumption that the keystores were being
used for SSL communication, in which case it would also be important to provide
trust stores (in this case, the trust store would include the AM certificate
since it would effectively act as the CA for the application - it is already
signing the certs being distributed to cluster servers). For the scenario
that you envisioned, do the applications already have SSL configuration that
would allow them to identify the type of keystore/truststore? Currently the
openssl code we leverage creates PKCS12 formatted stores, so ideally the
applications would be able to specify that type for a given store.
