There are two places Accumulo can use SSL. For Accumulo's RPC configuration,
yes, the keystore and truststore type can be specified. Unfortunately the
Accumulo monitor page assumes JKS when setting up https. We could get a patch
in to fix that, but it wouldn't be available until the next major release. SSL
for RPC is much more important, though. I'm pretty sure the monitor page
doesn't leak sensitive information. [~elserj], any thoughts on the possibility
of releasing a Slider/Accumulo app package that could enable SSL for RPC but
not the monitor?
