Robert Munteanu commented on SLING-6268:
----------------------------------------
[~kwin] - I've tried the patch and after updating the configuration for
{{org.apache.sling.commons.json}} I get the following error on the pom.xml file:
> Missing m2e incremental build support for generating the bundle manifest,
> component descriptions and metatype resources. Please use the provided Quick
> Fixes on this issue to
resolve this.
Note that I do have m2e-tycho 0.8.0 installed. When opening the quick fix
dialog and selecting the 'install m2e-tycho' option, the m2e catalog dialog is
empty, presumably because I already have m2e-tycho installed.
As for the issue with the Target platform and Eclipse Mars, maybe it's safer to
pull in and require a new enough version of m2e, and upgrade our requirements
to Neon a bit later, once Oxygen is out.

> With a locally built Sling IDE 1.2.0 and the locally checked out Sling
> bundles I get the following kind of errors:

> and run Maven->Update Project Configuration.{noformat}
> This one is for example for org.apache.sling.api . I do have Tycho Project
> Configurators 0.8.0.201409231215 installed. I'll attach my configuration
> details, if needed.
> The whole Sling checkout is at r1768748.
