This idea is only indirectly related to the thread topic.
I wonder if we should build in some kind of "call home" functionality
... the "anonymous usage statistics" that are referenced by many
software installers. So we can get an idea of what features people are
using.
Those interested in privacy will probab;lnot like this idea, and I
cannot blame them. I think we can make it so it would be acceptable. I
will look for an existing issue in Jira for discussion of the details
and create one if I don't find anything.
