------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-09-30 17:55 ------- If I understand this correctly, arcor-online.net is rewriting the Message-ID of mail they receive, and arcor-online.net is running SpamAssassin. If they choose to rewrite the Message-ID headers, then they are breaking the assumptions for which the rules in SpamAssassin that depend on Message ID work. In that case they should set the score of those rules to 0 to disable them so that the rules match the unusual configuration that they have set up at their site. If my interpretation of what is going on is wrong, please let me know. As for your comments about Netscape 4 optionally generating Message-ID headers and its behavior when the From address is in quotes, can you please provide a URL link to some details about that? I wasn't able to find anything about that via a Google search. If Netscape 4 doesn't behave the way we thought it does, it would be good to see the specifics so we can know what if anything should be changed in the rules or the documentation. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
