------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2005-03-11 01:30 -------
Ok, did the following.

Used the mentioned first file (backup_20050205) and imported it via the current
CVS version into the current
directory (so CLEAN import, no existing DB!).
>sa-learn -D --dbpath . --restore backup_20050205
>>debug_import_20050205_clean_db.txt 2>&1
Result: http://www.arendes.de/roland/debug_import_20050205_clean_db.txt

>sa-learn --dump magic --dbpath . >debug_magicdump_20050205_clean_db.txt
Result: http://www.arendes.de/roland/debug_magicdump_20050205_clean_db.txt

Then I imported the backup_20050205 into the current WORKING but (probably)
damaged database:
>sa-learn -D --restore backup_20050205 >debug_import_20050205_current_db.txt
>2>&1
Result: http://www.arendes.de/roland/debug_import_20050205_current_db.txt

The followed dump then:
>sa-learn --dump magic >debug_magicdump_20050205_current_db.txt 2>&1
Result: http://www.arendes.de/roland/debug_magicdump_20050205_current_db.txt

Everything looks fine, spamassassin even recognized the 30402/7496 messages.
Can you tell me how you
checked that these numbers are wrong by far? You told that the content is
nowhere near 80 and nowhere
near 30000. How did you check?

Perhaps I should try again with the (damaged) 20050226 backup?
