------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2005-03-20 19:59 ------- > hi, guys in CERNET, there is one thing you've fogot: the chinese subject > header is in QB encoded format, which is looks like: Subject: =?gb2312?B? > zbdt=- > sa=2 so it's impossible to catch the keywords in non QB encoded format like > what you guys set in your rules. Section 3.3 in book "SpamAssassin" by Alan Schwartz (O'Reilly 2004) writes: "The Subject header is considered to be the first paragraph of the message body. All textual MIME components of the message are decoded, and HTML tags are removed. The message is reformatted into paragraphs (text separated by multiple newlines), and newlines within paragraphs are removed. The test is then applied to each message paragraph." So I think the Subject as well as the Body part of an email are decoded before the test is applied. Otherwise, In our test, a Subject in non-encoded format (Like Subject: ) worksSo could you please tell me in which encoded format the rule fall to work ? Thank you. best, qa ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
