That's definitely a better idea considering that there is a bug in the patch I posted that prevents any of the DNS stuff from working :-). On the other hand, it does look like the id matching code is working and it is difficult to see just from looking at tons of debug logs if IDs are getting reused across processes and getting mixed up through use of the same port. I'll see if I can get the sha1 version working better in case Theo is inclined to try it to see what it does. -- sidney
