John brings up the very good point that what we are really dealing with here is
how MUAs decide to linkify text, not anything to do with any RFC. SpamAssassin
has to deal with common behavior in MUAs that spammers will target. For now that
means stopping at the \x1B byte the way the most common MUAs do. But to the
degree that SpamAssassin has to deal with, for example, Japanese spam targeted
at people whose MUAs are ISO 2022 savvy, it has to be able to find URIs in the
text that have ISO 2022 encoded domain names.
