It's in rc3.d, you can just run the S99rsync* script (I forget if it's
"rsync" or "rsyncd").  I already logged in and did that today, btw.

Yes, this came from the last time we had problems most likely.
Specifically, rsync used to be a daemon, then it got shoved into inetd
and fubared the daemon.  So the last time the box went down I had to go
in with a machete and hack the stupid thing to work.

Is there a reason you/someone is trying to get rsync running from inetd?  It's
perfectly happy as a daemon.  The last time I had to go through this thing, it
was running from inetd but not actually functioning which led to my swearing
at Solaris 10 and then hacking the thing to work.
