should we just not bother with votes for prereleases?
To be honest, I can't see the harm in accidentally pushing a prerelease
tarball at the wrong time -- and this is the second 3.2.0-preX that isn't
garnering votes, so clearly the process is getting in the way here. :(
(Votes for "official" full releases, of course, would still be necessary)

I think this prelease had a few issues, I know I had some, so that could
be the reason it isn't getting voted on. I tried building it on CentOS
4.4 i386 with MySQL enabled and it spit out an error. And on CentOS 4.4
86_64 it doesn't build at all due to DBI issues. Seems the yum repos is
way behind in what version of DBI and DBD::mysql they have. I even tried
CPAN installing it and neither of those would install due to mysql lib
issues. I've been busy at my $dayjob so haven't had a lot of free time
to debug those issues. But TGIF and hope to have some free time this
weekend.
