I think it's the same issue as when we dropped 5.0 -- it's ancient, and it's
hard for us to have a test environment that we use to validate things.

We didn't do anything to actively break SA on 5.0 when we dropped it, but we
also stopped paying attention to testing and bug reports about it.  It just
kind of happens naturally.

Anyway, I'm +1 on it as well, even my most ancient system came standard w/
5.8.
