"After sendmail does a hostname look-up on the IP address of the connecting client, the IP addresses of that hostname are looked up. If the client IP address does not appear in that list, then the may be forged tag is added." So it's NOT comparing the HELO, but actually doing a IP->hostname->IP lookup. Which in my opinion is a reason to NOT let whitelist_from_rcvd match.
