Kevin,

I have enabled NTP on the global zone, so your zone should now no longer drift.

Cheers,
Tony

Time Wonky on Zones and Zones2 for SA Project
 ---------------------------------------------

                 Key: INFRA-4054
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-4054
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Bug
      Security Level: public(Regular issues)
          Components: Zones/Jails
            Reporter: Kevin A. McGrail

Having an issue I'm seeing for the SA project. We've had some automated tools
going wacky for the last few weeks (more than 8).
We've been unable to identify why.
 Someone suggested checking the time.
Here's what I see on zones for SA:
 zones: Wed Oct 19 19:48:38 GMT 2011
 zones2: Wed Oct 19 20:51:45 UTC 2011
Far as I know GMT and UTC are identical zones, yes?
I couldn't use ntpdate to update the time even as root user so I'm guessing
the virtualization server might have the wrong time.
