He messed with ip shortening alot (::1/28) in some of those versions and got it
wrong multiple times. Even now, OSX does not shorten the same way as everyone
else, so I'm a little frightened another release is pending one of these days.

I think I need to talk him into doing dev releases so broken versions don't
accidentally get installed.
