Priority: P2
Bug ID: 6812
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: HDRS_LCASE (and related) score too high?
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: PC
Status: NEW
Version: 3.3.2
Component: Rules
Product: Spamassassin
Created attachment 5080

ham
The attached messages is not spam, yet it gets a very high score due to two
rules with the latest rule set:
* 4.0 HDRS_LCASE Odd capitalization of message header
* 3.7 MANY_HDRS_LCASE Odd capitalization of multiple message headers
which BTW just went up with today's update (it was something like 3.7+1.2
before).
Personally I don't see how lowercase headers relate to spam, but that just me.
I also notice that this is a new rule which is only in the updates and not in
/usr/share/spamassassin/.
Let me know if there is anything else you need.
