I have managed to confirm with a fresh Outlook.com account and a fresh install of TBird that sending mail with TBird results in a Microsoft-generated message ID with a Microsoft domain part. Reporter's example has 'exchangelabs.com' where my tests have 'outlook.com' but that is an implementation detail.
