--- Comment #4 from Michael <ph...@rogers.com> --- The e-mail they have been spamming for a month now repeatedly says the following: "This email is our final notice that as of May 1, 2025, Validity Zone File Access not be included as part of your current service level. Upgrading to our Paid Edition is required for you to maintain access to valuable IP Reputation, Validity Blocklist and Validity Certification Allowlist data. Without this upgrade, your access to the Validity Zone File Access will be shut off and restricted on May 1, 2025." Meanwhile, https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/SPAMASSASSIN/DnsBlocklists reflects it as a part of the 'default configuration' and says it is 'free to most'. This is not the case. It is paid for most and free for a few test-cases. There is some information (like the above e-mail) that they are outright shutting off any free access as of May 1 2025. Past readings suggested they are limiting to 10,000 queries per month (13 per hour evenly spaced) which isn't even enough for a 1-2 ham messages per day server. The rule should be disabled by default in new configurations unless explicitly enabled. It will be free to nearly no users of SA. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
