Rajesh Koilpillai commented on SQOOP-590:
-----------------------------------------
The patch seems to be perfect and it has externalized the server configuration.
Does this mean, I will also be able to use 7.0.29 by just switching the
relevant properties in pom.xml?

> Apache Bigtop uses Tomcat 6 to provide a common server for a number of other
> components of Hadoop. As far as I know, there is no specific need to use
> Tomcat 7 over Tomcat 6, so it makes more sense to use Tomcat 6 for now until
> more components can be upgraded to Tomcat 7.
