I had more trouble with git commit saying
bq. You have both src/java/org and src/java/org/apache/sqoop/ConnFactory.java
bq. error: Error building trees
There were some other errors with slashes being treated as some special octal.
Most likely the version of git I have is confused with some Windows specific
things in the patch. Any way, I created a new repo and added this patch and
could successfully commit it.
