parent/child for now. Making this change is super trivial if we want it the
other way.
my question for cname/ cid was for the rest-api. Do we need cid? for connector
I guess not.
while creating link can we not use cname as well? Since we will enforce unique
name constraint, we can also add a index for name field for look up to be
faster no?
Gwen feels like supporting both is not required.
