So from the perspective of the user and the connector developer, do we need
this distinction ? While starting a job should the user have to say it is
incremental? or delta?
My design proposes that each connector explicitly say that they support the
Incremental/Delta update ( I am yet to think off of a good name that
consolidates both) and then expose the right set of predicates/ config objects
that they user will fill in. If they do not fill that, then it will default to
the degenerate case of transferring all the records.
