[~jarcec], I am afraid not. If Sqoop client and server depend on Hadoop 2.6.0
with {{compile}} scope, there is no need to upgrade the version in root
[https://github.com/apache/sqoop/blob/sqoop2/pom.xml#L98 pom.xml]. The
{{Hadoop-common 2.6.0}} lib will be added in {{shell/lib}} and {{server/lib}},
and meanwhile Sqoop could also work with Hadoop 2.5.1/2.2.0 with {{provided}}
scope, if the classpath is configured in {{catalina.properties}} at runtime.
I have tested it using CDH 5.2 (Hadoop 2.2.0) with Kerberized Sqoop 2 using
{{Hadoop-common 2.6.0 lib}}.
