Excellent summary [~richard_zhou], I was thinking about including the
additional Hadoop jars {{hadoop-mapreduce-client-app}} as well and hence my
miss-understanding. I'm glad to hear that we've already tested
{{hadoop-common}} from 2.6 with combination of using 2.2.0 for the other Hadoop
libraries and that it worked. I'm wondering whether using {{hadoop-common}} on
version 2.6 will work with Hadoop 1.x that we're still supporting? I guess that
we could discuss removing that support if it will prove to be troublesome for
us, but that is definitely a separate discussion.
