Hi,

many people have invested lots of work into their UIMA chains, and those
chains are just working fine. For these people the UIMA integration allows
reuse their stuff in web apps. But if you plan to build a project from the
ground up in 2013 you should look first what is there in Stanbol, and only
for those enhancement steps Stanbol cannot solve for you, try find suitable
UIMA engines.
