Hi all, +Apache Steve is software for conducting a vote using the STV - Single +Transferrable Vote - voting algorithm. The tool grew out of the voting +system used to elect the Apache Software Foundation Board of +Directors.
Could be better by stating: Apache STeVe is election software using various voting algorithms (STV - Single Transferrable Vote, YNA - Yes, No or Abstain, etc.). For more optional voting algorithms see the Apache STeVe webpages at http://steve.apache.org. The solutions grew out of the voting system used by the Apache Software Foundation to elect the Board of Directors. It is the works of the Apache STeVe Project.
