@harshach my numbers for this rewritten topology were ..
**EL=1, Acker=0 :** 641,202 acks/sec, 1,282,413 emits/sec
**EL=0 , Acker=0 :** 719,399 acks/sec, 1,438,798 emits/sec
Approx 12% improvement over EL=0
