Hi all, I recently had a quick chat with a few folks who pointed out that the current website's color scheme (dark red combined with black and white, especially in the light theme) unintentionally resembles the flag of the North German Confederation / German Empire. Not the kind of association we want for the project.
So I took that as an opportunity to try something new: a refreshed design with a different color scheme, a one-page landing layout, and dark mode support. The content itself is unchanged, and everything still complies with the ASF requirements (self-hosted fonts, trademark notices, etc.). I've deployed a preview on https://stormcrawler.staged.apache.org/ and the changes live on the „refresh“ branch. I'd like to gather some feedback before moving forward. Opinions, criticism and suggestions are all welcome. I also tried to play around with a red version but that turned out quite aggressive... Thanks, Richard
