Yeah,

well that discussion was so long ago that it was swapped out of my memory. I
was just getting curious as it was mentioned in this board report and can't
remember it being mentioned before so this implied for me that there must have
been things going on that were not on the list.

Regarding the user-list I must have misunderstood you, when you asked me if I
was getting emails on the "mailinglist we created" ... this also seemed to be
a recent development. Turned out there was a "users@" mailinglist from the
start, but I have never ever gotten a single email to it nor a moderation
email. So I think there might be something fishy with this and perhaps it would
be good to open an issue with infra.

But all this sort of got me thinking: Gee ... I have absolutely no idea what
the project is up to and that's usually not a good thing.

    Hi Chris,
the logo thread can be found here:

We asked the media department at FZI to create some new proposals for
slightly changed logos and disucssed with them some basics (like explaining the
ASF thing and so on ;-) in January. We'll discuss this on the list as soon as
we got some proposals.

Regarding the mailing list, I'm not aware of any plans to create a new
mailing list. I guess that we discovered that there might be some issue with
the users list we created right in the beginning? Philipp got an email on this
list yesterday, but the archive seems to be empty and I also didn't receive any
mail despite Whimsy saying that the list works.

But in general I agree that there could have been more discussions on the
list last month.
