Yes, for the EmbeddedJSP plugin, it would require Java6+, but the rest of Struts 2 (everything we have today) would work fine with Java 5. So I can't really see a need for separate J5 and J6 releases. Noting that that single plugin requires Java6 seems sufficient to me. (*Chris*)
