We "continue to maintain" them in that they remain hosted. It's not like BDB 4.4 and 4.3 are changing over time. That said, if the state of the Subversion-Building-on-Windows art has progressed to the point where mere mortals can actually pull this off using their own source downloads of Berkeley DB, then we can probably drop these references.
