williaster commented on issue #4185: Add new visualization for custom X-Y axes URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-superset/pull/4185#issuecomment-362873060 curious why this needs to be a new visualization type vs just exposing more customizations options (eg not grouped by, no line) in the existing time series line chart, making it more general/not a line chart. if this is a superset of functionality, why not just deprecate/migrate the line series instead of cramming more stuff in?
