As I know BSD licenses are OK to be used with Apache projects,.. Paul,
Sanjiva or Ant etc may know better.. I would like to keep the JDK 1.5
support so I am ok to this if the license is compatible..

is needed in the compile time as this is a just one option.
Do you mean to say that this library is only required at compile time? I
haven't looked at it much yet, but then how does it work ?
