This might be something I can take on. What other mechanisms are being
considered here? Shall we opt for SMS messages, based on providers with
available Java APIs? I have done some work in the past based on Twilio, Amazon
SNS, Clickatell and Nexmo. Of course, all require paid subscriptions. Shall we
choose one, or are there better alternatives?
