John sorry, I think you didn't understand: The ONLY way we can really ship 
java7 binaries is by using the rt.jar from java7!
If you compile java7 projects with java8 then you end up with jars which you 
cannot use on java7...


We might probably move the toolchains section to a profile (to make it easier 
to contribute as Romain argued) but removing it totally is a strict -1.
